Founded by two passionate leaders in recovery, our mission exploded from a bold dream to create powerful, faith-driven safe havens for men with the desire to grow spiritually, and recover their TRUE identity.
Mike Gliem (RecoveryMike) – Co-Founder
Jenn Aickley, BA – Co-Founder
Mike has spent over 10 years serving in the substance use disorder field across inpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient, and alumni support settings. Living in long-term recovery himself, Mike brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his work. He is a Certified Life Coach, Master Motivational Speaking Professional, and the published author of The Long Road Home. After years in traditional treatment, Mike felt God calling him to establish Freedom Light Legacy—a faith-based sober living home where men can rebuild their lives through accountability, structure, community, and a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jenn Aickley is a grateful woman in long-term recovery, a graduate student, and a dedicated advocate for individuals and families affected by addiction. With a blend of therapeutic training, lived experience, and unwavering faith, Jenn brings empathy, compassion, and genuine understanding to every person she serves. Her passion is helping others find hope, healing, and purpose while creating a safe, structured environment where men can grow in recovery, rebuild their lives, and strengthen their relationship with Christ through the mission of Freedom Light Legacy.
